Review of Carnegie Hall Debut Recital by the New York Concert Review
”It was an exciting assignment to review cellist Alexander Hersh, winner of the 2022 Pro Musicis International Award, as Pro Musicis has such an excellent track record with its winners; having now heard this winner’s recital in Weill Hall, I can say that this awardee is no exception. In a program entitled ‘Beyond Borders,’ this young musician showed an openness and passion for all that he played, and, given the Pro Musicis mission to promote “visionary concert artists who awaken the human spirit wherever they perform,” he seems to be a fine choice.” - Rorianne Schrade,

"The Green Room" -- Out Now on Bandcamp
In the wake of the recent tragedies in Atlanta and Boulder, I've decided to do a pre-release of my new EP to help raise money for Asian Americans Advancing Justice and the Colorado Healing Fund. 50% of the proceeds will go towards Asian Americans Advancing Justice, an organization committed to fighting for civil rights and empowering Asian Americans while working to create a more just America for all, and the other 50% going towards the Colorado Healing Fund to support the needs of victims and families affected by the Boulder Supermarket tragedy.

ABOUT THE ASTRAL NATIONAL AUDITIONS
This year, Astral auditioned voice, strings, small chamber ensembles, piano, woodwinds, and brass candidates for placement in its esteemed program of approximately 25 musicians. Applicants, if advanced, undergo a competitive three-round process. Following the application round, live auditions candidates are invited to Philadelphia, where an independent panel of industry-leading musicians, managers, conductors, and presenters from across the U.S. adjudicate each discipline. The panels then recommend candidates for the final, interview round of the National Auditions.
Once awarded a place in Astral’s career development program, National Auditions Winners receive customized career development mentorship, a full complement of marketing materials, superior performance opportunities, community engagement experience, artistic exploration, and networking with top professionals in the field.
